I’ll admit, as a penitent sinner does before their god, that my palette was never something I really cared about or thought much of before receiving RGG’s Everlasting Wet Palette. The Wavy has two small, round magnets, strong pull, that line p with magnets on the palette so as to keep it close to hand and secure, so as to avoid unwanted spills. We decided right from the off to keep fluff and adverts to a minimum, presenting in-depth articles, with quality writing and high-end design, that really helps you as a figure painter to develop your skill set along with your journey to becoming a more complete figure painter! Or you can remove most of the paint with a window scrapper, and wipe the residual paint off with a paper towel. The RGG palette paper does not crinkle, wrinkle, or curl as some baking paper may do when placed on your wet palette. One thing I will note, is it mentions how this is more environmentally friendly since you're reusing the paper.Other than the features and painting characteristics of the RGG palette I detail above, you’ll find other unique things about the RGG Everlasting Wet Palette. The plastic bottom tray and cover of the palette is a nice upgrade from the v1 version or painter lite, which required an elastic band to keep the palette closed. I set the palette up, played with some paint and was really happy with the consistency of the paints, not only that I found that my paints after several hours had not soaked up too much moisture and as such had not spread across my palette, this happens too often with my own palette, especially if I am unable to get my preferred Kitchen Towel to act as the reservoir paper beneath. Cons: I'd have preferred it to be made of darker plastic so it is less likely to show smudges if you have paint on your fingers.
