About this deal

Regular exercise is essential to good health, but did you know it can help a person with autism self-regulate and manage stress?

The Gremlin series, more familiar to teen and adult communities, has finally made its way to younger populations. this is a brilliant resource - no doubt about it, sooooo easy to use with young people - you literally open it and read- it's self explanatory and leads simply between exercises. I used Starving the Anger Gremlin with a 14 year old client who up until that point had been extremely difficult to engage. This workbook was recommended to me by a colleague and, as a Headteacher, I have found it to be a fantastic resource for use in the school with Key Stage 2 pupils. my only gripe is it's quite short, and would be a million times better if it came with a disk featuring the exercises to print out the pictures and scenarios - perhaps these are available on the site but ideally these would be included. Starving the gremlin" serves as a great metaphor for changing your thoughts to change your behavior.
