About this deal

I decided to make this my most practical book to date…it’s not just about recipes or about the nutrition we need as a family….

Charlotte is an absolute genius and knows exactly what it’s like to be a parent and these recipes completely reflect busy lifestyles and quick go to favourites. They include some old family favourites from my childhood but also have tonnes of great breakfasts, snack-y options and delicious main meals too. After the initial weaning stage, it can be all too easy to fall back into old patterns, and if you’re feeding a baby alongside older children, it’s sometimes hard to know where to begin. Specialising in product reviews, Emily is the first to know about all the exciting new releases in the parenting industry.

I LOVE it, everything about it, and I really think it’ll be a tool to help so many parents feel confident and supported through what can be a super tricky time: feeding kids in those early years! In this beautiful, full-colour book, expert nutritionist Charlotte Stirling-Reed reveals her renowned method that has helped thousands of parents wean their babies confidently. My daughter is a bit of a nibbler, she likes little and often, she's a bit more reserved about food and she won't readily eat something up.

Cook for about 2 minutes, then pop the pan under the grill for 5–6 minutes until the pancake is puffed up and cooked through. There's a lot to think about when you're a parent and we all know how difficult it can be to plan healthy meals that everyone from the littlest member to the largest will enjoy. They have produced two pregnancy and baby milestone books, one “Pregnancy Milestones” and the other “Baby Milestones”, which takes parents right through pregnancy and the first year of their baby’s life. And at the moment, you know, you're going to find that very little is going to help because it's really, really, really challenging times. All the information and resources she's shared has made the journey so much easier and gave us a real confidence boost.Charlotte Stirling-Reed is a leading nutritionist based in the UK and author of the Sunday Times bestselling How to Wean Your Baby . He started being incredibly fussy with his food and I remember for a few weeks scrabbling around being like, 'Wait, how do I fix this? However, the meal plan included seemed a little challenging for me as it required to make something new every day. From my experience, online chat rooms and mummy blogs can contain information that is misleading for parents and, at worst, this advice can be dangerous. I wanted it to be a little different and so it’s really a book that heavily focuses on the HOW TO of weaning.

Add the butter or spread, egg and cocoa powder paste to the food processor and blitz until combined with the cherry purée. With this in mind, the book gently guides you step-by-step through weaning, supporting and reassuring you at each stage.

And then with How to Feed Your Toddler, I think Raffy was about three or four and then Ada was just coming up to one and so I had that toddler aspect of the slight food refusal and when all those challenges come up in the toddler years. The 30 day plan in this book immensely helped me building up my understanding, skill and confidence in cooking for my little one. And I think there are so many wonderful cookbooks out there but for me, the difference with this is that it has that content, it's there to support as well as give delicious recipes.
