This is the scariest book that I've ever read, and I had alot of trouble sleeping during the time that I read this book.I definitely BELIEVE that much of the experience Rebecca and Elaine experienced was/is REAL - unfortunately the witches astral projecting is real and DOES happen. The Spirit of the Almighty Lord is with me because the Lord has anointed me to deliver good news to humble people.

It is however easy to find the truth about Rebecca, who is really Ruth Bailey - a small-town physician who, after authorities in Indiana revoked her license, traveled to California and began promoting her strange views over there. Now, people may thing this is minor thing but after she brought it home and put it in her spare room, odd stuff started to happen.

I first read this book as a 15 year-old, impressionable Evangelical Christian with a fascination (not unlike my demographic at the time) for spiritual warfare and demonic activity.

The “freedom from prison” the Bible talks about doesn’t necessarily mean a literal “ Department of Corrections” type prison with block walls, bars and barbed wire fences. Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.The alleged "satanists" {devil-worshippers} characters in this book claim that they were swept up into the evil cult of "The Brotherhood", a supposed world-wide secret organization of diabolists.

I was very upset when I read her short biography on our own Goodreads that her medical licence was cancelled and that she had to endure a lot of shame. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. I pray that this author's soul which I hope is in heaven right now is freed from all the madness she was undergoing.
