About this deal

When teenager Alexis ‘Lexi’ James falls out with her best mate Nicole over ‘bad boy’ Ryan King, it’s just the beginning of a chain of events that go from bad to worse to deadly. It includes a serial killer who is hunting the people of the city and a tiny blue flower is left by him every time on the bodies of the people he kills. Since she became orphan at a very young age, she thought of not having any family member again in her life.

The ending of the book is very good and happy and people became fond of this novel because Mandasue Heller gave a realistic story of the Hulme Crescent. Late,r her father’s sister dies whom she never met and fortunately Maria became the heir of her fortune. She's a good student who only wants to pass her exams and find a way out of the sink estate in Manchester where she grew up. Her brother Leon is on the edge in terms of friends and the sort of people he hangs around with and trouble is lurking from the early pages. Chantelle is a magnificent lead, believable and wonderfully written; her situation described impeccably and supporting characters both colourful and engaging.Soon the mother of Lisa is attacked by the serial killer that leaves her seriously injured and Lisa is kidnapped by him. As always I was chomping at the bit to get the new Mandasue Heller book and was very pleased when my prayers were answered, and a preview copy landed on my doorstep. I had concerns that this one might not live up to my expectations, but I needn't have worried as Respect is just as impressive.

I saw a fair few friends get sucked into the hell of addiction - and lost too many of them because of it. It only got more interesting about half way through, but by now I had had enough, maybe not in the right mood to read this book, so I confess I skim read the the last half. Her favourite title of mine was Lost Angel and I’m afraid it still takes the title but this was still a first class read and one that I loved from start to finish. We follow 15 year old Chantelle and her 10 year old brother Leon through their low class struggles along with typical teenage struggles. Among all the novels written by the British author Heller, one of them is titled ‘Forget Me Not’ and is published by Not Avail on 1st June, in the year 2003.Chantelle is fifteen and holding everything together, raising her nine year old little brother, Leon, whilst her mum gets wasted and parties. While in Manchester she spent the first 10 years of life in the notorious Hulme Crescents as the backdrop. Lisa’s best friend is trying to get a bit friendly with her boyfriend and this causes Lisa to fall out with her friends. One day she was sleeping in her house along with her son in her arms, who was 10 weeks old at that time. When teenager Alexis 'Lexi' James falls out with her best mate Nicole over 'bad boy' Ryan King, it's just the beginning of a chain of events that go from bad to worse to deadly.
