North Star Games Happy Salmon Card Game
About this deal
There’s absolutely nothing civil about this game – victory goes to the loudest, jumpiest, high-fiving-est player around!
The cards are more like plastic and incredibly durable which is great as you will be slinging them around in a bid to be the quickest.Nathan Beeler : Initially, Happy Salmon felt like Pit with a silly physicality literally slapped on it. Besides, one of my friends (who's won the most games of Happy Salmon) mostly won because he was good at figuring out when to move on from the card he was holding - he won not because his deck is shuffled the best, but because he's good at figuring out when the thing he's holding doesn't work with what the others have. So players are constantly shouting out what card they have to get the attention of other players who may also have the same card so they can do them together. For a frantic game with players holding their whole deck and tossing cards all over when discarding them quickly, the cards have to stand up to the beating. The only recourse for being partnerless is to save the card for later, dropping it to the bottom of your deck.
We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. That never happens long in Pit, in my experience, which is why I’d much rather play that and forego the silly slapping (that I otherwise dig). Dicebreaker is owned by Gamer Network Limited, a ReedPop company and subsidiary of Reed Exhibitions Limited. As you can see, these actions are definitely active – fist bumps, high-fives, slapping arms, and running around.
