I Love My Mummy
About this deal
Whatever the reasons, this cheery picture book explores the relationship between a mother and her toddler through a simple rhyming text about everyday experiences with which small children will be very familiar. It was quite a cute book but it’s hard to review it when you’re not a small child and don’t have much dealings with them. In comparison most pages in this are not endearing -mummy wipes a grubby nose, helps them "do a wee" and tells the little kid to not "scream and shout" when they go out.
Being told from the perspective of the baby (or toddler), children will be able to relate to the events in the story or even point out things that they do with their mommy too. Play together in the park, bake delicious cookies and snuggle up for a story, then thank Mummy for everything she does for you! Spedizione e imballo ni: preferirei che i prodotti venissero imballati singolarmente, perché all'interno del pacco cozzano fra loro rovinandosi. This would make such a lovely Mother’s Day gift from child to Mum – we would definately recommend to add it to a book rotation! This book has sentimental value for me as I have read it with all three of my children and they have all loved the closeness of reading it together and reaching out for hugs and kisses as the animals do on each page. I Love My Mummy has been endorsed and recommended by Dr Amanda Gummer's Good Toy Guide, and is the perfect gift to share on Mother's Day.
The colours aren't very engaging, so we got bored of the pictures pretty quickly, but the story rhymes, which we like.
