About this deal

Crusted port is a blend of port wine from several years, but retains the crust otherwise restricted to vintage ports. It has a deep amber color and a bouquet of aromas that include nutty, caramel, and dried fruit notes, with hints of toffee, chocolate, and oak. The wonders of wood: Graham's is one of the last Port companies with its own cooperage team, who care for each cask individually. This port pairs perfectly with strong cheeses, nuts, and desserts such as crème brûlée, chocolate cake, and fruit tarts. This, combined with the skill of the Master Blender, has resulted in Graham's mastering the art of making an outstanding 30 year old tawny port.

About: Grahams is one of the last Port companies with its own cooperage team who tend to each cask individually. Using the extensive knowledge of the Douro Valley gained over the previous seventy years, the Grahams chose an ideal place to plant a vineyard; an excellent south-facing aspect, fine soil composition, good gradients that facilitate drainage and a perfectly sited ridge on which they built one of the finest of all the DouroÂ's great estate houses. Owned by the Symington’s since 1970, Graham’s is the only remaining British Port company independently owned by a single family.

This combined with the skill of the Master Blender has resulted in Grahams mastering the art of making 30 Years Old Tawny Ports. TASTING CANCELLATIONS – full refunds can only be made where at least 7 days’ notice is given prior to the event date. Port"" wines produced outside of Portugal may be labelled with a vintage date, but rarely possess the quality and proven age-ability of true vintage port.

Graham’s 30 Year Old Tawny Port is a fortified Port wine made with the Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca varieties produced by Graham’s Port, in the Douro Valley, Portugal.

The wonders of wood: Graham's is one of the last port companies with its own cooperage team, who care for each cask individually. It is a fabulous accompaniment to dark chocolate, but can also be enjoyed on its own - it is an experience in itself. There may be extra charges for some postcodes including but not limited to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, and British overseas territories.

In 1890 GrahamÂ's became one of the first Port companies to invest in Upper Douro vineyards with the acquisition of the famous property; Quinta dos Malvedos. This wine’s contact with the wood of the cask works hand-in-hand with time to create one of our greatest wines. Graham's was founded in 1820 and through the 19th century went from strength to strength, attaining an unparalleled standing as a producer of fine Vintage Ports. Since then Malvedos has been recognized as one of the Douro ValleyÂ's finest Â'river Quintas,Â' and the quality of the wines from the vineyard continues to be fundamental to GrahamÂ's reputation as a leading producer of quite exceptional Vintage Port. O. Tawny Port is an exceptional fortified wine that has been aged for three decades in oak barrels, developing a rich and complex flavor profile. In contrast to vintage port's short time in barrel, LBV port is aged between four to six years in barrel, to mature it more quickly. After receiving twenty seven barrels of Port as a payment through their textiles business, they decided to focus all their energy on making the best Port wines from the Douro Valley. This is caused by the addition of distilled grape spirits (such as brandy) to fortify the wine and halt fermentation before all the sugar is converted to alcohol. Graham’s 30 Year Old Tawny Port is an amber-coloured fortified port wine with the characteristic aromas of long aging, like nuts and ripe fruits. TIME-HONOURED skills, craftsmanship and dedication are handed down from generation to generation at GRAHAM’S in the form of three unique arts – the art of blending, the art of cooperage and the art of ageing – to produce an extraordinary selection of Tawny Ports. The 30 Year Old wines are very serious indeed, showing immense structure and a range of dried fruit and nut flavours. Founded only in 1989, Bodegas Terras Gauda has quickly established itself as the producer of definitive Albariño, one of today's most fashionable white wines and an Eton Vintners bestseller.
