About this deal

Sony Classical release the album as a limited 4 LP 180gm audiophile vinyl set, that comes in a quad fold with 4 printed inner sleeves. Some of the data that are collected include the number of visitors, their source, and the pages they visit anonymously.

Now he’s released Hans Zimmer LIVE, which features over two hours of his music performed with his 20-piece band, The Disruptive Collective. This includes reporting on many different types of updates on upcoming projects like release dates of movies, casting news, and highly anticipated trailers. The packaging features a personal note by Hans Zimmer, stories on how he met his fellow band musicians, illustrations and photos. His fandom has led him to have near-encyclopedic knowledge of franchises like Marvel, Pokemon, Survivor, and more which makes reporting on them a breeze.Additionally, his favorite shows include The Office, New Girl, The Haunting of Hill House, and Survivor.

I assume Hans himself approved this mix prior to release, so I guess it must be right - but it doesn't sound as good as it could or should do. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. Except for a handful of scores, like Dune, for which he won an Oscar, he had collaborators for most of them and was not the only credited composer. After writing about film music occasionally, he thought it was time to create his own site to celebrate music from film but also other media. Also, it's always interesting to hear how more recent soundtracks, such as "Dunkirk", "Dune", "Wonder Woman" (some really beautiful, anthemic harmonies here) or "Dark Phoenix" perform in a live setting. The album was recorded during the highly successful same-named concert tour in Europe in the spring of 2022 for which Zimmer created new 'suites' from some of his most recognizable themes and melodies from the Oscar-winning scores for 'Dune' and 'The Lion King', as well as such contemporary classics as 'The Dark Knight', 'X-Men: Dark Phoenix', 'Dunkirk', 'Gladiator', 'Inception', 'Interstellar', 'The Last Samurai', 'Man of Steel', 'James Bond: No Time to Die', 'Pirates of the Caribbean' and 'Wonder Woman 1984'.
