About this deal

If you’d like to file an allegation of infringement, you’ll need to follow the process described in our Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy. You may also repeat this process as often as you please; the same rules for dyeing apply as described in the wax batik segment above. Turning off the personalised advertising setting won’t stop you from seeing Etsy ads, but it may make the ads you see less relevant or more repetitive.

You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. Inspired from the importance of orchid plants in the eco system, Orchid Pink becomes the Fashion Colour Of The Year with its intense purple undertones that reflect joy and positivity. As it was such a light grey I didn’t want to use trusty Dylon as the only grey they offer is a dark grey, too dark for this item and what I wanted. Keep in mind that anyone can view public collections - they may also appear in recommendations and other places. You will find more information about Kolorstar fabric dye in the instructions, it is also on each package!

To remove the wax from your project, place it between sheets of unprinted ab sorbent paper such as newsprint or blotting paper and iron it evenly. Suitable for: 100% cotton, high% cotton mix, 100% linen, high% linen mix, poly-cotton mix, canvas, silk, rayon, viscose-natural fibre mix, hemp and more! The fabric dye is especially suitable for use on cotton, viscose, linen, and blends, as well as silk and wool (except for mohair, cashmere, angora, merino). You can get new colours by over-dyeing (example: red fabric turns purple if you dye it blue without lightening the colour before). Multipurpose dye for machine and hand dyeing of lilac Kolorstar fabric, intended for dyeing natural and artificial fabrics, nylon and lycra.

I have now used several dyes from Jacquard, this being the second colour and for natural fabric rather than polyester as before. The darkest dye available in the colour family will increase the intensity (example: use navy blue dye to make midnight blue deeper). If you’ve already done that, your item hasn’t arrived, or it’s not as described, you can report that to Etsy by opening a case. To reduce the risk of fire, never leave vintage electrical or electronic products plugged in unattended.

The colour was a bit patchy, but once the curtains are up no one can tell unless I point it out, so I can live with it. We have 47 vibrant colours in our range, ranging from the the ever popular Black, Navy Blue and Chocolate Brown shades, to Pink and Primrose Yellow. Found some great results on a similar shade of fabric and the colour was exactly what I was looking for. Deka L Dye 33 Lilac (Lila), A-frame or stretching frame, thumb tacks, bristle brush, rubber gloves, (wooden) stick/spoon for stirring, white fabric of either silk, linen, batiste, cotton or muslin material.

When over-dyeing add the 'complementary colour' to neutralize a bright base from coming through when you dye Black or Charcoal Grey (example: existing scarlet red fabric + black + some forest green = black without red tones).Get Warmer Colours:add a small amount of brilliant yellow, tangerine orange, scarlet or cardinal red dye (example: add brilliant yellow to make magenta a true red). They arrive in good time, allowing for them coming from California to Scotland and I will definitely used them again. To obtain rich and deeper colors, it is recommended to use 2 or more bags of paint at the same time.
